In February 2005, I came to Steamboat on a ski trip with my friends. I fell in love with the town instantly, and after my return home, I put my notice in at work on Monday and moved out here three weeks later. I just knew it was the place for me! I like to snowboard in the winter and dirt bike in the summer. I also like to do gymnastics at Excel once a week. I am from Peru, even though people think I’m from somewhere in Asia because of how I look. I consider myself a very shy person, but when I am alone with someone I’m very talkative. I’m the go-getter type in that when I have a goal I work very hard to achieve it. I have a positive view about life even when everybody thinks that there isn’t a solution. I always say, “relax we will figure this out.”

I just turned 25-years old and recently moved back to my hometown, Steamboat Springs, the most beautiful place in Colorado. I grew up playing almost every sport, although basketball was my passion. I like to surround myself with positive life forces at all times.

I’ve lived in Steamboat most my life and love to take advantage of it! In the winter I love to ski and snowmobile. In the summer you can find me at Steamboat Lake on a boat. I’ve danced my entire life and devote a lot of time to dancing within the community. I like to volunteer with The Salvation Army, as well as help my mom with the “Bust of Steamboat.” I’m a goof ball who likes to have fun and enjoys being creative!

I’m originally from Chesterton, Indiana–a Hoosier girl born and raised. I moved to Steamboat eight years ago with my now husband, Adam, and we’ve continued to build our lives here. I’m currently the secretary of the Steamboat Dance Theatre and have been dancing with SDT for the last five years. Dance is a true passion of mine, and it’s something I’ve been doing since I was little. I also love camping, hiking and snowboarding.
Fun Fact: I am a certified alligator wrangler.
I know what you’re thinking–nothing says sexy like a happily married woman, right? Well I’m here to prove that stereotype wrong! Growing up in Steamboat, I’ve learned to love life while in harmony with nature. This includes anything from biking, snowboarding, hiking, dancing and acting, to simply taking my dog Luci for a run. I’m not happy unless I’m being active, and the faster the better! That’s what keeps things looking good underneath my hood!

I was transplanted from Minnesota to the lovely mountain town of Steamboat nearly five years ago. Since being here, I’ve discovered many new hobbies and interests. Some include, but are not limited to, snowboarding, knitting, cooking, crafting and playing the trombone in the community band. I am a self-proclaimed movie critic and aspiring detective. I recently married the love of my life and look forward to a fabulous future with him here in the Yampa Valley.
Fun Fact:I love lobsters–eating them, kissing them and making them my friends.
I’m a true believer of “the curse” of the Sleeping Giant! I own a business in Steamboat with my sisters who are the best thing in my life. At Mountain Mama’s we make delicious crepes and goodies! I’m known as “The Jill of All Trades” because I always have something going on like snowboarding, soccer, dodge-ball, kickball tourneys, DJ-ing a crazy costume party, being a part of the Steamboat Dance Theater or putting together this calendar!
Fun Fact: When I grow up I want to be a trapeze artist.
I have been in Routt County 22 years and am always surprised at the beauty and slow place of this sleepy mountain town. My favorite time of year is summer. I love to play in the river while the sun beats down on my skin or ride horses on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Family life is very important to me, and I keep them all close at hand. As a mother of two, my life gladly revolves around football games, classroom parties, and sleepovers.
