Skitown Calendar’s Girls of Steamboat release party was a total success! While promoting our inaugural event, we launched the Skitown Calendar website the week before, in hopes to educate the general public regarding event details. Skitowncalendar.com exceeded over 1,000 hits within five days of the site’s release. Our Facebook page gained over 300 fans in the two-week marketing span, once again far exceeding our expectations. Our e-media and social networking has allowed us to advertise at no print cost, highlighting the fact that there are other solutions to advertising than just print media. This marketing technique will continue to benefit the sponsors and small-town businesses of Steamboat by providing them with incredible exposure in an immensely cost-effective and productive way.
